These kinds of questions require some research and a fair bit of thinking. So, the best way to approach the analytical essay is to decide what you want to argue, and try to convince us that you are right!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-studio14-blocks-accordion-block\"><div style=\"display:none\"><input type=\"hidden\" value=\"Reference external resources\" data-wpml-translate=\"1\" data-wpml-name=\"accordion-0-title\"\/><input type=\"hidden\" value=\"While you are writing your analytical essay, we encourage you to rely on external sources, such as news articles, research, books, etc. But\u00a0<strong&gt;you are not allowed to copy text from another sources and use it as your own<\/strong&gt;. (That's called plagiarism!) That is why, when you use a thought from another sources (for example, if you find a number from a scientific article, or you want to use a quote from a newspaper), it is very important to note where that thought comes from. You can do that with a footnote [1] in the text of your essay, followed by a list of sources at the bottom. I usually like science finction, but sometimes I will read a romance novel, too!<br&gt;- Yeah? Have you read anything recently that you have liked?<br&gt;- Last month I read [name of the book] and I really liked it because the author captured <br&gt;what it's like to be a high school student! I felt that way myself very often\u2026<br&gt;<br&gt;To clarify: we don't expect you to have an answer for every possible thing we could ask you about. So, if you mention you like playing volleyball, they will be curious -- and they'll likely ask you how you started playing, or what you like about the sport. Don't worry -- that's normal! We don't rcommend trying to prepare answers at home, but just use this to get a sense of what's possible -- the best interviews are always spontaneous conversations!<br&gt;<br&gt;- How did you prepare for this interview\/selection process?<br&gt;- Think about something you learned in school that you had trouble understanding. For example, maybe you are leader because you organized the WhatsApp group for your class, or because you are teaching\u00a0your younger brother how to play the guitar.\u00a0\u00a0Whatever the example is, it is helpful to have one! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/div><\/custom-accordion><custom-accordion subject-title=\"Don't be afraid of follow-up questions\" data-url=\"\" data-url-title=\"\" data-open-in-new-tab=\"false\"><div slot=\"description\">All of your interviewers want to get to know you, and they will definitely use the opportunity to ask you follow-up questions on topics related to whatever you are saying. So, if you mention you like playing volleyball, they will be curious &#8212; and they&#8217;ll likely ask you how you started playing, or what you like about the sport. Don&#8217;t worry &#8212; that&#8217;s normal!
